We believe mobility at the point of care is the key to saving more lives. With that belief, our mission has been to expand access to primary diagnosis around the world. Built to keep working in demanding environments, our durable systems are used not only in modern hospitals but also on front lines worldwide, including villages in developing countries, resulting in 97% of our sales coming from overseas.
And now, we are once again focusing on Japan. In Japan’s super-aging society, healthcare is evolving from something people go to hospitals for to something that comes to them at home. We believe MIKASA’s technology, which enables imaging in just a few minutes wherever it is needed, can empower healthcare professionals in home care, hospitals (including operating rooms and ICUs), and disaster medicine.
